OPTIMAL TRANSPORT THROUGH THE MIDWEST

_

University of Wisconsin Madison

Madison, WI
July 15 - July 19, 2024

We are happy to invite interested graduate students to participate in the Optimal Transport Through the Midwest summer school! Through lectures and discussion of research problems we hope to expand and strengthen the community of researchers working in the field of Optimal Transport and its applications. Lodging and a stipend to cover for travel and local expenses will be provided to the admitted applicants. We are expecting to be able to provide funding for 10 to 15 students.

In addition to providing an introduction to the topic of optimal transport, we hope to discuss applications of optimal transport to data science, statistical problems, and variational problems in analysis.
